Bachelor of Arts degree in 1982, and The National Center for Paralegal Training in 1983. Originally from Maine, Deborah was employed for nine years as a paralegal for two products liability litigation firms in Portland, and has worked at the Firm since 1998.

Prior to becoming an attorney, Jim was a certified public accountant with the international accounting firm of Peat Marwick Mitchell & Co. (now KPMG) where he provided audit, tax and consulting services to banking, construction and manufacturing clients. He also spent three years as controller for Storehouse, Inc., a multistate furniture business, where he was responsible for all financial reporting and internal control systems for 20 retail stores, two manufacturing plants, and two product distribution centers.
